Blog 449:
Correction,
please!We’re not snow
We’re larger than sleet
We’re actually in graupel family, you see
You will not find us during winter time
Instead, watch out for us in thunderstorms
We form as stone-like looking mixture
When upward-moving air stops falling graupel
And drops of super-cooled water hit and freeze it
Before long, we mix, and then grow as heavy concoction
Hailstones we’re called by name
When we get too heavy for air updrafts to support
We all dangerously fall and strike all in our route!
