Into the Woods ...

Blog105:
The woods loll …
But they delightfully welcome ground intruders-
Large and small leaves swing in and out
They move in pairs or in hordes
They mingle … then rest …
At invitation, they take their places in crevices.

The woods slump
They refuse to inch out of their comfort zones
But they gladly lull their sturdy or fallen bodies
As winds whistle their merry sounds
And jump here or there in chase of one another
Between, and around small and tall tree residents.

The woods stretch
They perk up … they step out and shift their bodies
Jovial dancing begins as ‘the Maestro Wind’ touches each
Until solitude turns into a cheerful symphony of whistling
Trees surrender … they bare their branches …
They obey, instead of defy gravity.
