Cry out your wounds …
Just mourn the hurt…

Grieve over minds in shell shock
Grieve over traumas of terror
Grieve over blurring visions of a tomorrow
Lament the scars of war …
Just bewail the pain …

In the midst of distorted beliefs and vague allegiances
In abject disdain and hatred for one over another
In conflicting confidences and strives
Wallow in stark sorrow …
Just take the undisputable hurt …

Before long ...
And very soon indeed …
Numb and dazed hearts
Dry up all tears and bury gloom!
