Verdant green grasses invite

Come all … everyone!”

In time crowds appear
They turn up from far and near
Large-footed creatures cram
Teensy-tiny four legs swarm

Bushy bunny rabbits hop on
Squirrels spring, prance, run
Daring Cardinals pick on the pack
Turtles snub and sleep in shell shack

Soon all around … indeed very soon
Carpet-green ground plays a merry tune
Chirp!  Hoppity-hop! Eaah!  Aaahh! Tweet!
“This gathering,” says all “is one great treat!”
