    It activates the mind’s rhythms
    It directs the intricate body machinery
    It rejuvenates the minutest cell and fiber

Upon waking and rising
Life attends to graceful gifts it brings …
    Eyes search and ears listen for critical responses
    Loving hands create good things, reaches … touches hurts
    Determined feet walk destinations of need and want

Upon waking and rising
Life received transforms as a blessed offering
   Let life’s precious time and resource fully serve
   Let life’s endowed or acquired ability get shared
   Let life's humble self give gifts that keep giving!
