Colorful lights trim a live tree outdoors

Is that Christmas?

At the back porch, snow-like lights drape down the roof edges

Do they announce Christmas?

The lit Moravian star is center at the front deck

And mimics the light that the Magi of yesteryears followed ...
Does that ring in Christmas?

By the door hangs a festively ribboned-wreath

And while it welcomes guests and me into the house,
It surely doesn’t bring out the feel of Christmas!
Next to the show window, inside the house,
Attractively wrapped presents excite the eyes
By the fireplace hang filled-up bright red stockings
The little ones will perhaps delight in what they find from it
Still ... those do not speak out loud of Christmas

What is Christmas exactly?

Where and how does it come alive?
 

"Christmas is love that lingers year-round," a voice gently whispers.

"Find the living spirit of Christmas deep down one's giving heart!"
