Family Grows ...

Human family flourishes time after time
It is first born when woman and man unite
Wanting ... desiring to be fruitful and increase itself
At other times, a family sadly grows uninvited
Births from violent or accidental origin mix and factor growth
As couple’s offspring comes it rises in number
Multiplication expands what once was simply nuclear
At some point all begotten mature
And some choose to build their very own nucleus
Then the once nuclear unit extends as separate family groups
Where grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins make connections
One generation to another reaching out and intertwining lifetimes!
