Growl … rumble …Hunger pangs roar!
Is it my stomach or brain who craves?
No … I am not so sure
Some say it is brain that starts all
Others declare the stomach’s the culprit
What about my taste buds or palate?
They must have their say, eh?
Something salty and crunchy calls
Something sweet, perhaps, begs
No … make that something sweet’n’sour
Or give in to something creamy … chocolatey!
Long for something mouth watering
Pine for exotic taste
Whatever, whenever the place …
Hunger be pleased, I implore!
