Fallen Leaves

Blog 468:

Blow them away
Sweep them up
Rake them all
Pile them up high
Or tightly bag them!
 
Just gather the leaves
Haul them away
Mulch them if you like
Return them as nourishment
Back to the ground!
 
Give trees’ fallen leaves back to Earth-
They that keep giving
Shelter, respite, food …
And be ever grateful
For gifts they share year-round!
