Trampled upon, I will not be

While my will and strength
Flowing from my veins
Allow me to rise up
Every time you pull me down …

You will not take advantage of my generosity
While I am able to decipher servitude
From happily and freely giving my brainwork
That takes you forward
While you intentionally leave me behind
Soon as you get to the top …

Today, I emancipate myself!

I take back my right to choose my path
Today, I free myself from all suppression
I retrieve freedoms to ride out tides
I liberate myself from a life of compliance!
